Did you know . . .

 Frank E. Hering, a former President of the Fraternal Order of
Eagles, made the first known public plea for "a national day to
honor our mothers" in 1904. A decade later, legislation
in the U. S. Congress requested a presidential proclamation
that would designate the second Sunday in May

***************Trustee/Officer Election Results****************

The following Aerie members were elected by the membership to
serve as Trustees on May 2, 2012: Todd Goehler, Don Harris,
Tracy Kidd, Sean Martin, and Peter Wintermute.The following Aerie
members were nominated to serve as Officers in an
uncontested election at the Aerie meeting conducted on April 18:
Dave McDermott - Worthy President, Joe Wheeler - Worthy Vice President,
Rock Ruark - Worthy Chaplain, Dee Dee Hodge - Secretary,
Rich Brune - Treasurer, Jim Taylor - Worthy Conductor,
Don Jenkins - Inside Guard.

Installation of officers and trustees will take place during the
regular meeting of the Aerie on June 6, 2012.
